The founder, Frank Blondino, Ph.D., is a pharmaceutical professional with over 14 years of

diverse experience.  He is accomplished in:

·         Formulation and device development;

·         Analytical development;

·         Technology transfer, scale-up, and manufacturing;

·         Intellectual property;

·         Regulatory submissions; and,

·         Contract negotiation.

 

Briefly, Dr. Blondino has held the following positions:

·         Executive Director, Formulation and Process Development - NovaDel Pharma, Inc.

·         Associate Professor/Associate Director for Development Research, Department of

           Pharmaceutics - Virginia Commonwealth University

·         Section Head, Inhalation Division - Magellan Laboratories Inc.

·         Associate Director, Inhalation Product Development - Baker Norton 
     Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (a subsidiary of IVAX)

·         Associate Scientist, Pharmaceutic and Analytic Sciences - Hoechst Marion
           Roussel, Inc.

 

Dr. Blondino’s product development and manufacturing areas of expertise are spray dosage

forms of small molecules.  This includes pulmonary aerosols, nasal aerosols, and oral sprays.

These investigations have included drugs for local and systemic action, including human and

animal applications.

 

Dr. Blondino has been involved in writing and reviewing regulatory documents including pre-

IND briefing documents, INDs, NDAs, and annual updates.  Although most documents were

CMC related, he has also been responsible for certain preclinical investigations and the

incorporation of this data into the submissions.

 

Dr. Blondino is co-inventor on 7 United States patents and has been involved in evaluating

patents for technological and commercial feasibility, infringement issues, and portfolio

management.
